Amphora Original in my old Jarl billiard, the first decent pipe I ever bought these many years ago. The only problem with this pipe is it doesn't hold enough tobacco. But it does smoke wonderfully.

MacB Black Ambrosia dated 2014. A decent blend but it burns to fast, no tongue bite. Pipe of choice: Custom made Cob nosewarmer ( not by me, however I did make the tamper pictured ) using a MM Country Gentleman bowl, wood shank and a wide acrylic stem. Excellent smoker!!!

Billy Budd Blonde in a 320 EX. Coffee with lots of milk.
I should just say "same as always" or "option 1".
There was this restaurant in NYC where all the professional comics used to eat. It was explained to me that they all knew each others jokes so well, they had numbered them. So one guy gets up and says "74" and everyone cracks up laughing. Another gets up and says "326" and peals of laughter and table banging. Then this one guy gets up and says "23" and nobody laughs. Crickets. It was explained to me that that guy never could tell a joke.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch and am now smoking HU Old Fredder’s Broken Flake in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. My drink is Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar. Watching A Tale of Two Cities starring Basil Rathbone on TCM. Today is Rathbone's birthday.

Getting ready to light up.... Amphora Original date 2013, I have 6 pint size Mason jars with this blend. For me it’s best when dried a bit so I also keep a small tray in a ziplock bag for everyday use if necessary. Also I find this blend is best if removed from the pouch and mixed well. Pipe of choice: Dagner Design Cob Poker pipe, a great combination 👍👍👍 The tamper in the picture I made about 2 years ago. Most of my shirts have a pocket or two, so the pen design I did comes in handy. I made one for a good friend that also lives in NC. His is a bit different, he does use it when he’s out and about. He’s a great guy!!! The top portion is wood and if you look close my name is burned into the wood. Sorry for the poor quality & bad lighting. Still worth posting I believe.
