Getting ready to light up.... Amphora Original date 2013, I have 6 pint size Mason jars with this blend. For me it’s best when dried a bit so I also keep a small tray in a ziplock bag for everyday use if necessary. Also I find this blend is best if removed from the pouch and mixed well. Pipe of choice: Dagner Design Cob Poker pipe, a great combination 👍👍👍 The tamper in the picture I made about 2 years ago. Most of my shirts have a pocket or two, so the pen design I did comes in handy. I made one for a good friend that also lives in NC. His is a bit different, he does use it when he’s out and about. He’s a great guy!!! The top portion is wood and if you look close my name is burned into the wood. Sorry for the poor quality & bad lighting. Still worth posting I believe. neat tamper!

Paid $30.00 shipped and he even sent me a few ounces of his own private blends. Here is his website if you want to take a look..... www.kearneycobs.com/

Well rubbed and rested in a tray for just over 30 minutes.... McClelland’s Tudor Castle.....gifted to me by a pipe smoker and very generous friend. It’s his favorite tobacco, so that made this gift even more special too me! It’s a great flake that you all know is no longer available. I know he has enough for MANY happy & healthy years to come👍🎉👍🎉 Thank you again my friend. Pipe of choice: an Olde London Chubby Pot that I restored a while back. It’s an excellent smoker and a perfect pipe for long time clenching. Also in the picture below is another tamper I made for easy carry around.

An aside: I like this thread. Everyone "likes" what the other is smoking. Kind of like a head-nod saying, "well done, good chap."

A blend of FOUR different C&D Burley tobacco's aged for just over 6 years in a H.S. Studio sandblasted well balanced very dark brown bowl sitter poker pipe. An upwards two tone black/brown shank with a bent stem. Purchased this pipe from a seller on eBay @ the cost of $28.50 shipped. Now that the pipes she’s selling became popular a similar pipe has been selling for over $75.00!,, So, I got a great deal on a good smoker. This pipe is dedicated to Burley blends because anything with Virginia’s was down right awful..

It's been a good day in Lower Alabama. Earlier I had some PA in a Stanwell Brushed Brown Canadian, followed by some SWRA in the same pipe and now am enjoying MacBaren Virginia No 1 in a MM Apple Diplomat with a Forever Stem. There is a big pot of Gumbo on the stove and the dog is chewing on a beef knuckle.
Life is good!

Balkan Sobranie dated 1986, pipe of choice: Bjarne Giant smooth Apple pipe with a bent stem. This pipe was made for me personally by Bjarne. A one of a kind tobacco deserves a one of a kind pipe.
