Haven't recalled all I've smoked over the last few days, but I know there was D&R SJ Rimboche I believe in my Merkur 2000 volcano, then there was definitely more Haunted Bookshop, and some well aged Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky, but 99% only the Kentucky portion of the flakes, with a few smidgens of the VA ribbon in there, and that smoke was in my Leonessa Briosa slight bent rusticated apple, and it was an amazing smoke, candylike. Very sweet and smooth all the way to the very very bottom of only white ash. A perfect smoke.

This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Also just finished drinking a bottle of Cheerwine.

You had hair in your tobacco on the right side there. Hope you didn't smoke that as well. It's cat's hair, it's everywhere and it's unavoidable, so it's there for that added flavour.

So that's the Herbal back note, so prevalent in many Danish tobacco's . . . . . . . who knew?

Bon Jour, Pipers!
I've been absent. I unfortunately left most of my pipes at a friend's and I have to wait for him to bring them back. Haha. Also, Grampa just had his knee replaced, so I've been playing the role of good grandson. So I haven't been home to smoke much..
I know slowroll is probably just as annoyed as I am that I haven't gotten to breaking in his pipe yet. Haha
Also,on a good note. At my friend's BBQ I packed a cobful of Devil's Holiday for his brother and he seemed instantly hooked. Haha I took him back to my place and fixed him up with some more cobs, samples of Sutliff aros, a tin of Tob Black Cherry, and a few tins of Dunhill to introduce him to the English/VA side of things. His young man's enthusiasm for the hobby was intoxicating. What can I say? Haha
Currently loading my cobbit with some home brewed Burley blend I cooked up.
Gonna round up my cobs and briars I have left in stable and a few jars of leaf before heading back up to take care of the Pater Familious, so I'll see you all again soon (now that I'll have something to smoke). Please excuse my Latin spelling. It's been some years since college..
Happy Trails!
Justin
