Late start to the work day. Breakfast was Samuel Gawith Chocolate Flake in an estate meerschaum apple with a cracked shank that still smokes like a champ. Own Mystery Blend in the cobs at work.

You had hair in your tobacco on the right side there. Hope you didn't smoke that as well. It's cat's hair, it's everywhere and it's unavoidable, so it's there for that added flavour.
Happens to me as well, oh so often

Got busy at work and didn't post me morning commute smoke. However, I'm back from the DSA where I finished the commute smoke of SWR in a CG. I'm drinking diet cranberry juice on the rocks!

Edgeworth Ready Rubbed era mid 70's in my no name custom made Lovat pipe. I’ve posted pictures of this pipe prior but I don’t have the picture on this device, I need to put it in one of my clouds. To me it looks like a Scott Thile Design.

Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Going to run a few errands on this hot and humid day. See ya later on today.

Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake dated 2006 in my full black sandblasted/rusticated Tom Eltang Devil Anse pipe. I’m trying to smoke this pipe more often. Maybe with another 20 uses or a bit more it will be a better smoker. If this pipe was not a gift it would have been SOLD by now!!!

Tried some Royal Yacht last night. I smoked it too big, and it hit me in the head with vitamin N. But I like it.
These little excursions into other tobaccos are nice, but their main purpose, it seems, is to remind me how much I love my primary relationship with Billy Budd Blonde in a Sav 320 EX, tepid coffee on the side. Which I am sipping at right now.
Its nice when you "know" a tobacco, know how it burns, how to pack it, the pace to sip it, what tastes good with it, what to have before hand that makes it taste better. And a pipe you love, that you know, that you can feel how far down it has burned without looking, that you know when to tamp without checking.
Maybe I am getting old, but reliable comfort is valuable to me. Heck I have had the same dry cleaner for 20 years.
