Just tried some Drexel VIII. A free sample P & C sent me.
Its not to my taste. Its ok, but just. But the aroma of the tobacco itself is glorious. Heady. Lovely. I wish it tasted as good. I will give it a few more tries before decide.

Cracked open my C&D Briar Fox. So far this is my favorite blend. I may have a lot left to try but at least I have found one worthy of buying bulk.

Send it to me and I will dispose of it for you.🤡 Not worth the postage or trip to the Post Office... horrible stuff - worst I ever had. Going to jar it with a quart of water and use it as a plant insecticide. Since you got a compromised tin, you should complain, and ask for a replacement.

Try another pipe. I had to find the right pipe for it, but I never got any harshness from it. I personally never got the harshness, it just lacked flavor. So far I find for me it smokes best in a good Cob. Everyone’s palate and Ph is different, tobacco is subjective to each individual. I admit it's not a flavor bomb. It was meant to be a milder smoke than say, Solani Aged Burley Flake. Maybe it's just too mild for you. You usually smoke stronger blends from what I see. Try breaking up a couple flakes, and mixing it with something stronger, and see what you get.
A cob is a good idea. I should try that.

PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in a Stanwell freehand. This stuff smokes really well in a narrow, deep bowl.

I am doing the same with a bunch of stuff call Penance? Pansies? Pentagram? Something like that. I think a company called Erotica makes it. best smoked in your phallus cob

I saw Jim smoke some HU Old Fredder's Broken Flake (a few times) and thought "It's been a little over a year since I've smoked that one." So , I decided upon some over a year aged HU Old Fredder's Broken Flake to smoke in the Butz-Chacom Duo 1402 pipe with a 16 ounce can of Modern Times Critical Band Hazy IPA along side. I find I have to pick the right pipe for it. You have that experience? Love the blend just the same. Honestly Jim. This is only the second time I've smoked it. Yes, it's been that long....... I definitely liked it last night more than the first time I tried it. I think I was a little sick when I tried it the first time, however. Any advice on the pipe size/shape for this blend Jim?
