I don't like "No pipe smoking" Sherlock Holmes movies I agree. I read somewhere that the smoking was an affectation to emphasis the magic of his thinking. He solved problems just by thinking about them. Luckily the original books and stories are still available in print! And most are available for free I believe, on line. A modern Holmes should at least be into vaping.

Relaxing after a wonderful honey chicken and rice dinner with a bowl of 2010 McClelland Black Parrot in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, Woolly Mammoth horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. Watching the Nats-Phillies game.

Back home after a couple of days off the grid at my buddies ranch in God's country. It was too hot to play with the longhorns, but inside with the cat and bourbon slushies was great. His wife is a gourmet cook and the freezer was full of venison. Now smoking a bowl of Sutliff Chocolate and in a CurlyTop brandy stack. Lambrusco over ice on the side.

Had the chance, or made the choice, to get a few pipes in today even in the sweltering heat.
1. Cob - Lane 1Q. Good start to the day.
2. Grabow Freehand - Proper English (really like this blend)
3. Cob - C&D Bayou Night
4. Peterson Summertime - Dunhill Nightcap (dedicated pipe, Sunday night ritual)
5. Stanwell Black Diamond - C&D Constellation
The last 3 were back to back. And now it's time for a bowl of Bluebell - Southern BlackBerry Cobbler icecream.

Been extremely hot here in NC the past few days. Almost finished my last pipe of the day......so.....Iβm going to prepare a Padron 3000 and sit on the back deck and start Monday off on the right track πππ. Itβs a balmy 77 degrees outside. Then hopefully I can shut my eyes and get a couple of hours of well deserved π΄ sleep π€!!!

Motzek's Kieler Foerde in my George Lewis billiard. Very few tobaccos grab my attention from the first lighting. This is one of them. Exceptional. Let me know if you want to do a group buy from Motzek in the future. I have been salivating over Michaβs Cake, Kieler Foerde sounds really good.
