CokeClassic at this desk, DGT '06 Blackpoint in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Soon headed for diner (fish frys), groceries etc. Hope back for evening thread.
The "big heat" in the East not here yet...starts overnite. 84, clear at this time.

Just packed up some GasLight.
I've been smoking Ries' three star blue all day and I needed a change.
I'm wondering how I'm gonna get rid of all this three star actually. Haha Good stuff. Like an aronatic CH with a touch of the black stuff, but as a guy who favours variety, a 7oz tin is a real commitment.
When I get a 7 ounce tin, I jar 4 ounces immediately and will jar smaller amount later, if I don't want to finish it at the time.

Just finished a bowl of Anni Kake in a straight grain volcano (a gift from a fellow piper back in 2013). Following up, running to my shed for a bowl of McCl. Yenidje Supreme with 5 years on it, in a Royal Comoy yacht #539.

Big fat pipe full of of Dunbar. I hate to say it, but add all the toppings you want. Add all the latakia, Kentucky, perique.. Nothing tops a bowl of true, quality Virginia. It's like smoking hay, honey, and raisins. Sunshine in a pipe.
Jamming some Buffalo Springfield. New to me, but it's pretty boss.
A note on The Buffalo Springfield. A 5 CD boxed set of all their albums remastered (in mono and stereo) just came out today.I am ordering one for sure. This is the first time their music has been remastered. The set is worth buying for "Expecting To Fly" alone.
Half way through this bowl of Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
Back from spending a few hours with my 3 beautiful granddaughters and now time to relax....
Germain Brown Flake dated 2010
Pipe of choice: Stanwell #95 all around the bowl of this chubby pot is rusticated and the wide rim is smooth. A slight bend to the wide comfortable stem.

I’m enjoying a bowl of C&D Opening Night in a Basil Meadows long shank brandy with a brass band and cumberland stem. My drink is a Diet Manhattan Special neat.

The sun is down and it's not blistering hot. Just finished Amphora Original in a cob. Somehow, I've managed to make it last over 40 minutes with no relight. It's ok though, I have a lot on my mind that needs sorting out.
Just finished smoking 2010 McClelland Black Parrot in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, Woolly Mammoth horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. Time for ice cream!

Just received this blend today and my fist time trying......
C&D Billy Budd Blonde bulk version-fresh
Pipe of choice: one of the Custom Cobs I made for my smoking pleasure.
Ted,
I’m curious to know your thoughts. I have a tin from earlier this year. I prefer to let most C&D blends age a year before opening. Please share your impressions.
Now smoking MacBaren Modern Virginia Flake in a post WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 Bulldog with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Been watching the Red Sox lose to the Yankees.
