Arizona Pipe club Meeting, Saturday June 9th

Glad I checked the start time - thought it was 2PM.

A great group of fellows at the AZ Pipe Club (or is that sexist?, anyway...).

If anyone is in the area and on the fence about showing up, I would encourage you to give it a shot.

I'll be missing the July meeting, but already looking forward to August.

I seriously doubt we would have all been there if not for you, so thank you for gathering the troops.

Very sorry to hear of your sister. You are going through difficult times of late, and for that you have my prayers. Nothing I can say will lessen the burden, but I do know that we grow through pain and strife. That goes for all of us, you, me, your sister, your son, it's difficult to comprehend sometimes, but if you ever need to vent, I'm happy to buy you a beer or ten.

Thank you David, I appreciate your prayerful support... she was a candidate for a liver transplant due to many years of medications for all types of ailments, then diagnosed with ALS... which generally goes pretty fast.

Rob, great meeting you, and really look forward to seeing you at our future meetings.

Thank you for the kind words, but since day one of our first meeting we have had a great core group of members. Gary, John, and Darin have been here from the start... even though Darin couldn’t make the first meeting, he had a tin of tobacco delivered to the table. Without these great bunch of guys and everyone else.... well we all bring something to the table.


I have quite a few people on the email distribution list, but so many people in our region travel for work or pleasure, family commitments that there is an ebb and flow. If everyone shows up at once, it will be quite a gathering!

Jon is in the Middle East for a few months more, George will be in Greece during our next meeting, and David will be missing...but, the show goes on!

It was by dumb luck that we picked the 2nd Saturday of the month, so far it has never interfered with any holidays.

We are an open club, If I haven’t been given the boot yet, you can tell that the standards are pretty low.

I think it would great if you and your Lass could come and visit.

I've really been craving spending some time Arizona. Looks like a good time. George has some nice new pieces. I love that deep bruyere version of his oval shank Trademark and the Perla finish looks good with that tall bulldog. I'll have a few goodies to show off to the guys hopefully at the November meeting.
