 Wife came in from Day Lilly Festival, stopped and shopped, had a big bag of Cracker Jacks. I want the prize I yelled. Got the prize and it was a tear off stub giving me a free app for game. Sheeeeeeez I said, with disgust Where's the peanuts I said, Wife says probably because of peanut allergies they don't have them anymore. Damn I say we're raising a bunch of sissies :  The Old Cajun

Poppycock, and Crunch-N-Munch snacks left Cracker Jack in the dust long ago..... the last time I bought Cracker Jack’s, they tasted stale even though the expiration date was far in the future.
I bet that there are great recipes online to easily make your own...trying popcorn popped with cocoanut oil will cause you to never go back...

Each winter the wife and I make our version of caramel corn all we would have to do is get raw Spanish peanuts and cook them then we would have our own cracker jacks. BTW we also make brittle.

The Mrs makes Hot Spicy Peanuts,cayenne and chili
powder,a touch of salt.Yep,good heart stopper there.

I bet the peanut allergy thing was a convenient excuse to cut costs. Cracker Jacks are dead to me (even though I've only eaten them a few times when I was a kid)
