I got this tin of briar fox with a sticker on the bottom with 7 12. 16. Is this the date it was tined up?

If it is I have one extra tin I got for the celler and this blend was my first on from C&D and my first block of tobacco. My first bowl is delicious and I am a fan!

I believe that is the case with C&D.

Briar Fox is always in my rotation and a great morning smoke with coffee. A few years of aging makes a large difference so congrats and enjoy!

Not "probably" or "maybe" or "I think"... The date on the sticker on the bottom of C&D tins is definitely the date on which is was tinned.

I just got that tin from an online source so I was surprised that the date was nearly 2 years old.
