If you’re exploring or new to pipe smoking, buying several briars can be expensive. Thanks to @johnr, it doesn’t have to be. He shared a link whereby one can purchase 7 corn cob pipes for $27. Corn cobs are inexpensive and a good way to experiment with different blends. Here is the link: WWW.corncobpipe.com

Wolfman you are right this is a good way to build a rotation for a new piper. And if the piper is an avid fisherman, Hunter, hiker etc. A nice way to be able to have a pipe or two with them and not worry if it gets damaged or lost.

I would add my affirmation too. Cobs are cheap, easy to get a handle of and they smoke well.

I agree 100%. Actually I just ordered 2 more today. I like my few briar pipes, but I really love my cobs.

That's a great deal. At first, I thought, 'no way are they MM pipes,' but I checked and lo and behold they are. Great find there, @truculentfrogs.
