I don't think most men watched it to see what came out of their mouths. LMAO.  The Boy Scouts organization, and now this. Next up... professional bodybuilding competitors will not be judged by appearance. PC is killing everything these days. |

 Yep , Contestants will be able to appear in Burkas, can you imagine 50 Burka women moveing about the stage. And the winner is the lovely lady in the see thru Burka.

So are they saying that women are not to be appreciated for how they look? I'll believe that when women quit buying beauty products. If they're worried about women being objectified they should shut the whole pageant down. Women are to be respected for many things, but their physical beauty can be appreciated as well. I think the old cajun may be on the right track here. |

can see both sides of this. Course for dedicated lecherous old men (I well qualify)! Always Miss Universe, Miss World, maybe others I've never heard of...plenty of T&A skin to ogle!

Here is the deal. The hypocrisy is so thick. If you want to avoid objectifying women, just end the whole beauty pageant thing altogether. Because whether you admit it or not, objectifying women as a thing of beauty was and is the whole darn point of the thing.
Its like non-alcoholic beer. Huh? If you don't want beer don't drink beer.

I think recognizing women for their beauty is only natural.
Women like looking at hunks, us guys like looking at babes.
I just told the wife the other day..."hey, I look kind of like a young Sam Elliot in that pic"...she replied, "yes you do."
