I did something at the Chicago Show that I have never done before.....I bought a pipe! I have wanted one of Anthony's RC's for a while now and finally grabbed one. He calls this his Kenny pipe as it resembles Kenny from South Park when held in profile and bowl up. Sorry for the upside down pic...my phone isn't cooperating today.

Oh, and if there is any doubt as to how incredibly well these smoke let's lay that to rest. My favorite tobacco is McCranie's 1983 Red Ribbon. It tastes 9000% times better out of this pipe than anything else I have ever smoked it in!

Nice, I'd buy it just for the Kenny reference. Enjoy it with happy smoke rings.

Being a great fan of RC´s too I have eyed Anthony Harris´s pipe lately. Too bad they are quite pricey (not that they are not worth their money). Congratulations!

9000% better flavor. Definitely a glowing recommendation. I've been watching reverse pipes for some time but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've often wondered what advantage they have over a traditional calabash other than more briar to look at. Enjoy, it's a beautiful pipe.

Beautiful ... did it taste that much better immediately or was it after a few smokes?

Beautiful ... did it taste that much better immediately or was it after a few smokes? It was immediate. I was actually sitting in the hospitality suite in Chicago with a few guys I know. As soon as I got it lit and understood what was going on I passed the pipe around for them to taste. They all had the same opinion I did.

Anthony has actually done the science and has found there is a minimum square inches that the secondary chamber has to be before there is any effect on the smoke at all. All of his RCs are at least that big and he makes some of them a lot bigger. He has an interesting post on his website about it. Acme Pipes Double ChamberAnd the walls of the secondary chamber as so thin that it is coloring after 4 smokes. It's pretty neat to watch.
