This is actually pretty amazing. I've been listening to a band called Guided by Voices for over 20 years, and "pass the word the chicks are back" happens to be the chorus to one of my favorite songs by them. Now I know where it came from! I've never heard of this band. I really liked that song! Shades of the Tragically Hip. Off to check out some more of their stuff! There A LOT. I suggest you start off with Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes, and Under the Bushes Under the Stars. Robert Pollard makes an album of SOME SORT every two months, it seems. |

Which mountains are you going to?
I just got home after a week in NE Tennessee and visited the Gatlinburlier tobacco shop in Gatlinburg. They have several house blends that are smooth and tasty like Cades Cove Cavendish (sort of smells like a vanilla sugar cookie) and Mountain Mall Mix (their description says an aroma of Crackerjacks. I get a nutty caramel). I also like their Mellow Moonshine blend which is lightly topped with peach brandy.
