I thought I’d say hello and give some background. I’ll be 40 soon my oldest son is now a grown man and a member of this forum.
I’ve owned a number of pipes all inexpensive. I’ve always enjoyed relaxing with a pipe. I haven’t had a pipe in quite sometime see I was surprised when my son told me he was getting me a pipe. My mind was blown when he handed me a bag of Tobacco tins and a Peterson Bulldog.
So here I am an old new pipe smoker that’s being re-educated by my son. Funny how the world works. I’m looking forward to learning more about the world of Pipe smoking. My son has opened my eyes to the seemingly endless possibilities. I look forward to discovering what my preferences are.

Welcome to the patch. I'm glad Jr got you started in the hobby. If I'm right you've even got some sweet kilarney which will be our blend of the month in July, so you can take part and see if you pick up some of the things that others do. It's ok if you don't... I don't direct to pick anything up other than smoke. I think it'd be quite neat to have a hobby like this that you can share with your boy as well as being in the forum together... You can keep Beardedpipesmoker in line. |
