Well, I was sniped in the last 5 seconds and lost the pipe by $1.00. It was an unsmoked LaStrada Dublin, black fully rusticated. Oh well, I still keep my eyes open for a bargain 👍

My wife bought me a new pipe for Fathers Day. A bit of a pleasant surprise, for sure. She had some help from my son picking in trying to pick out an inexpensive, decent, pipe and I think that they did quite well. I took it for a test run this morning and it is a fine smoker. It a Roma Select bent billiard with a colorful band and a vulcanite stem. Not sure who makes it, but it is a P&C sale pipe- about $60. I am quite happy with it

I have a half dozen or more awaiting restoration. They are too far gone for the living room so they have to wait until I get my workshop cleaned up. At least 4 are Ropp Cherrywoods and 2 are Scandia.

I use an old ash tree stump that I used a wax sealer on, for a lot of my pipe photos. I did not tweak the color or do any post processing. Just shot the pic with my phone on a cloudy day. I don't know why, but I have found several very nice BBB pipes for minimal cost. Do people not know how good they are?
