Ok we all have them but how did we come up with them? I am talking about that blend of mismatched tobaccos that we empty out of tins pouches and from anywhere else tobacco accumulates. All the online places have table scrap sale or whatever they want to call it made from ...well scraps...I want to hear about what you all created by accident and look forward to "scrapping together" your next FRANKENBLEND!
Me..I just mixed together the last of my McClellands Nutty Hazel..some Sterling double eagle(thats a cube cut burley) and the last of my Sterling White Tail Aromatic... the mix 1 part nutty hazel...1 part... White Tail and 2 parts Double eagle...review to follow soon..
When you make your Frankenblend..do you keep the same types..a lat mix or Va/Per mix...similar blends all in the same jar...or do you go hog wild and mix it all? something tells me a coconut/balkin mix would make me shudder as I smoke it..

I'll mix anything with just about anything just for shitz sake, and it's usually pretty damned good, sometimes sensational. I don't use bottom-of-the-tin crumbs either... a little o' this and a pinch r two o' that, right off the top, fresh as can be. Mixed Strang and Warrior Plug the other day for added dimensions to both... top shelf flavor all the way! Combinations/permutations are as endless as a kaleidoscope view - stretch out your cellar to infinity...

Its the leftovers tin here. To make it different to my Latakia tobaccos I have added generous parts of Viginina and Burley to it.

1 part Cigar (Oliva Nub Maduro), 2 parts Perique, 3 parts Solani aged burley flake 656, 10 parts Pease Union Square.
Chop, mix, spritz with Bourbon, pack tightly in a Mason jar, toss it in a closet and forget for a couple years. Finally find it while looking for your fly fishing reel and enjoy. Dark, sweet, smooth.

Now thats how it usually happens with me and how I find those things!
