I don't know why I decided to use a different name here than what I use on another pipe forum. I finally got the feeling that from my posts that a few folks figured out I was orley from the other pipe site. So I figured I might as well use the same name here.
Goodbye muttandjeff, it's orley from now on...

Thanks for the second warm welcome! The name Orley comes from some 78 rpm records that my parents bought for me when I was a child. The adventures of Little Orley as narrated by Uncle Lumpy (Hugh Brannum aka Mr. Green Jeans from Captain Kangaroo) were a staple in my home for entertainment. Somehow as an adult I picked up the nickname Orley because I seemed to be the only one that ever listened to these records. Man, even now our friends refer to my wife and I as the Orleys. I gave up and trying to escape it.... Yeah I originally started out as agnosticpipe, because, well I tend to be one, and the pipe itself knows nothing. I still have one of the original records.  |
