Did you know that you can send in Dr. Grabow pipes to the Dr. Grabow facility and they will replace the stem for $12? I recently sent in three of mine for stem replacement and am posting pictures of these. They also buff the pipes for you as an added touch. I also sent in one of my pipes that had an overshot stem (metal screw-in fitting) and they readjusted it for me for free.  Send them to: International Pipes & Accessories, 1731 U.S. Highway 21 S, P.O. Box 849, Sparta, NC 28675. Include a check for $12 for each pipe and $3 shipping for up to four pipes. |

They look like new plus your getting a replacement stem that looks original. Great customer service as well I must say. Thanks for the info. I am a big Dr. Grabow fan and smoke them regularly. Might need their services at some point.

Sparta is a typical small country mountain town.It's in the N.West corner of N.Carolina.Only about 1800 folks live there.The Dr.Grabow Pipe is maybe the only thing of real fame to come from there.The factory has been there a long time.A tribute to the fact that a lot of folks think the pipes are worth what they cost.
