Enjoy the day with your children and remember today is ALL about you, DAD ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Spoil yourselves today with your favorite tobaccoโs and Cigars, you all deserve the BEST!!!
Being a father has been, without a doubt, my greatest source of achievement, pride and inspiration. Fatherhood has taught me about unconditional love, reinforced the importance of giving back and taught me how to be a better person. Naveen Jain

As far as I know, I'm not a father, so I'll just have an extra bowl of some good tobacco while petting our two cats.
Happy Father's Day to you, who are.

Happy fathers' day to all the dads here. Unbeknownst to my daughters, they bought me a pouch of amphora original for BOM. They unbeknow me so well.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads in the Patch. A moment to also remember those Dads who have passed on and are no longer with us. Always in our hearts, enjoy every moment you can with Dad today & everyday. Now get his slippers, pipe & bring him the newspaper with a hot cup of coffee!

Missing my Dad today. He has been gone from my life longer than he was in it, but those 19 years are precious and lasting. I just wish he and my son had known each other. He would have been a fantastic grandpa. So it was important to me my son have part of Dad's name as his heritage.

...wishing all Dad's a very Happy Father's Day...My oldest son has my Dad's name...second oldest has my name...the other four have my middle name...sorta ties the family connection I think...so, I raise a bowl to my Father who passed in '05...and to myself for a few extra bowls today!
Yesterday, I celebrated 58 years of pipe smoking...every June 16 I always look back on this journey I have been on and wonder would I have done anything different...Nope...no regrets and it will be one of my four passions I will enjoy until my last breath...

my Dad passed in 1974, we were close in some ways, not in others. I'd rate both my parents as A+.
My Dad was the #4 ranked scientist on the WW2 Manhattan project.

My dad died tragically at the end of 2007. He was who I wanted to be. He was a great dad, husband, son, role model and the closest person in my life. I talk about him with my son and try to pass on what was passed to me. I sometimes see things in my son that remind me of him. I like to think Iโm blessed. After he died I fell apart. My alcoholism reached the depths of hell, and I had a plan to kill myself. Miraculously and unexpectedly, less than two years later my wife became pregnant. I never wanted to have children. But when she told me, I had an instant transformation and was never so happy. Iโm now grateful for having almost 33 years with him.

Happy Father's Day! While I never had children of my own, I've been blessed with some great step-kids and five grandsons and I'm glad that the opportunity to experience this part of life came my way.

My father taught me to fish and shoot a gun when I was about 10 years old.More importantly though he taught me moral values that I still live by.I passed them along to my son..Him and his wife think they're supposed to take care of the old man. They just brought me some tobacco..I told him that when I'm gone I wanted him to do two things.Make sure his mother is OK and remember that I loved him.He just said..I already know that pop.

My dad died last year after falling off a ladder. I'm glad he went the way he did. My mum couldn't have done a long illness or something like that.
Still, I miss seeing him at weekends. I'll raise a bowl to him if I can later today.

My father was a really awful one, I really learned nothing about being a father or husband by him, if anything the examples were so extremely bad as to inform me on not how not to follow in his example. But, he was my father nonetheless so I gave him the respect due to his position in authority over me. We had a good relationship when he died in spite of all that had taken place, and for that I am thankful. Lingering bitterness only eats at your soul like a cancer, and for things beyond your control..what's the point?
Providentially, as a yound father, me and the wife attended parenting and marriage classes offered by our church that really zeroed in on principles related towards fostering healthy relationships in every facet of life, including outside the family unit also...that has proven to be priceless.
Happy father's day, it is great to be around a great group of fathers, and for those that don't have that calling on their lives also.

So glad you have had so many years with your son. My husband grew up without a father, he lost him when hubby was just four years old. Doesn't have a lot of memories of him, but he has been a great father to our son, teaching him what he knows at every oportunity. They have a good relationship, and I am glad for that. if you are on Facebook you can see a couple videos I posted of them sparring in our dojo, lol. www.facebook.com/trapperhoney

I totally understand and if I were to post about my Dad the story would have been similar. He was my Dad, I loved but did not like the person he was! My Dad passed away back in 1982, I miss him and wish he was still here, he was only 57 when he passed. Iโve often wondered if he was still here would his attitude towards life and people have changed??? He was the epitome of Archie Bunker. Oh, and he knew it.

Happy fatherโs day. Hope you can spend it with your dad if youโre lucky enough that heโs still alive. Also spend time with your own children. Being a dad is the most important job youโll ever have. My son surprised me with a new pipe rack hemade for me and a pipe. But more important we shared some pipe time together.

My son decided today he was taking is family to the ocean beach and not see me. So, not such a good day for me! He should have done a quick stop over at his sisters house 7 miles away. During the week he mentioned to me in front of my daughter โ I want to do something with Dad โ.
