Those mountains are a stunning view, the back of you....well it’s hard to tell. Although what your looking at can be a reflection of you.

What you guys can’t see is the rocky straight drop below. This pic was taken when Don found out another guy just bought all the McClellands blends from the local B&M. He was talked down when negotiator Jiminks told him about the upcoming MacBaren releases.

Colorado has some beautiful country.
My grandparents lived in Howard since the early 1900’s just west of Salida on US 50.
I spent a good amount of time growing up at Ft. Carson, and lived in Canyon City for a spell.
For years, my uncle pulled a cannon around during the winter to trigger controlled avalanches... and they paid him for it!

Nice picture! Wyoming has some pretty country too. This is in the Snowy Range in South Central Wyoming near the Colorado border.  |

I was going to have a smoke up there, but the sky was spitting graupel at us and the road up was so rugged, we didn't stay long. The road was the stream bed for some stretches, so not good to be up there if the rain really started coming down. We used to camp a ways below this in this valley when I was a young scout. I never saw the upper part of the valley because none of the Dad's had good 4wd vehicles. I have fond memories of capture the flag, ghost stories and games and songs at the fire. |
