I'd go Luxury Navy Flake for the milder, and maybe London Mixture for the English. I would also have a different answer next month

Proving once again I can't answer a simple question without getting caught in the weeds... I am on my third bowl of Five Brothers today. I have never smoked the same brand this much on a regular basis since Captain Spice in the Seventies. Problem: Since 5B is neither aro nor English, picking one cuts out the other... for eternity. I've been staring at the screen for five minutes since my last sentence. I just can't. I just can't. Hal, open the Pod Doors, Hal. Daisy...... Dai........sy

I think it changes all the time, but right now Pembroke and.... wait for it..... Sutliff Barbados Plantation! Yeah, I went there. I'm partial to vanilla and rum aromatics and this one sounds very good (looked it up on TobaccoReviews.com). I'm putting it on my short list. 👍

Kind of reminds me of Piper's Pleasure, in fact.

This is what I love about threads like this...while it is subjective, hearing others' favourites makes me think, 'hmm, if they'd choose that one I might give it a shot.' It's great for stumbling upon new blends.

I know that dish would taste outstanding, now let’s make a good tobacco blend with the proper toppings, call it The BriarPatch Holiday Blend. That would be some feat for sure 👍

OK. If the reported tobaccapocalypse occurs and I only can have two it would be
C&D Billy Budd Blonde Escudo Navy De Luxe
Third would be either War Horse or Royal Yacht.
If I were limited to an OTC brand it would be Carter Hall.
If I were limited to two tobaccos that a non-smoking potential spouse would not mind, I would chose CULT Abacus or Carter Hall. (And i would sneak in my beloved Blonde when outside.)
As they used to say about Carter Hall: "The chicks are back, pass the word, the chicks are back."

With my limited sampling of blends it would be Briar Fox and Jack Knife.
This will change over time as I try more blends but for now.

I love how you interpret the number 2, Jeff. LOL It is an interesting limit. Two tobaccos. I was trying to think of ways that such a restriction was realistic, rather than just my two favorite all day smokes. Also, as they say, two is one and one is none. So...
