This review is based off a one bowl sample.
The ribbons are lightly moist, but do not need to dry. It lit easily and burned at a moderate pace.
Upon lighting, I get a sense of sweetness (presumably from the Virginias). Within minutes, the Orientals take the lead. They are woody, sour and mildly spicy. There’s some smokiness that lingers in the background. At times, the tobaccos meld together and I get a pleasant, smooth, velvety sweetness. Towards the end of the bowl, the orientals intensify and I get a strong cumin taste.
It smokes cool, but does have some harsh notes. This is a mild bodied blend with a light amount of nicotine.
If you favor Oriental/English blends, you will enjoy this.

Sam, another excellent review 👍. It’s a blend I have never smoked and most likely will not go out of my way to try due to the harshness you described.

Thank you @lonecoyote and Legend Lover. When I mention coumin, it’s because I sensed a spice that reminded me of Indian food. I then googled spices in Indian food and voila, coumin!

Thank you @lonecoyote and Legend Lover . When I mention coumin, it’s because I sensed a spice that reminded me of Indian food. I then googled spices in Indian food and voila, coumin! Cumin, probably the most widely spice used in Indian cuisine, many different flavor variations and grades of spiciness/Pungency. Personally, I enjoy the cuisine but now on the mild side!!!

I'd never heard of this blend or company. You wrote an honest review - you didn't candy coat it. Very well done!
