Glad it worked out for you and your neighbor! I always seem to plant too many cucumbers and squash and end up giving it away at work. Hate to waste good food and I don't can or freeze stuff (probably should).

Nothing like giving or sharing what’s growing in your garden. I use to put a small table at the end of my driveway with tomatoes, squash, cauliflower, green beans and sometimes corn. The sign said “ take what you need “, always worked out well and my neighbors appreciated it. Those were the days👍

Good job.
My neighbor has received many buckets of tomatoes of all kinds, green beans and yellow squash from me. My dad has taken some to work to give away. Along with okra, jalapeno and pablano peppers. I've taken bags full to work and even gave some to the people I've been working for. I love my garden and I overdid it this year. But it keeps me occupied and rewards EVERYONE around me.
1 rule to my garden... STAY OUT! The only one that I've let help me in it is my 8 year old.
