My last pipe of this day......it’s almost tomorrow....oh the joy of it.
Germain Special Latakia Flake from 2006, rubbed out well and letting it sit in a tobacco tray for about an hour. A bit moist for my liking.
Pipe of choice: my Ardor Giove Dublin ( DR )

Sippin bourbon n water... I just realised that is Ronald Reagan in your avatar! I am not used to seeing him so young! Looking good! I am enjoying some Nightcap in my Peterson Aran. I am glad I have some good friends here, including one sending me some Dunhill tobacco! Are people great on this forum, or what? My "new" GBD comes in the mail tomorrow. After I get home from the doctor and I get it sanitised, I'm going to fill her up with some five brothers and prepare for a nice, relaxing evening with my pre-1980 pipe.

I'm out of Frog on the Town. :-( That was my favourite. I may just break down and break the bank and buy another one. I am not sure. Is there anything close? English Luxury seems pretty close to Frog Morton Cellar. I need something like On the Town.

Part way through this bowl of Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Phone chatting about a ton of stuff.

I was going to have some Watch City Slices, but instead decided upon some C&D Poplar Camp after reading a review by SloTri (a fellow member over at www.pipesmokersdens.com. I remembered that I have an almost two year old smaller jar of the blend and it's been about two years since I've tried it. So, I am going to have some in the recently received Vauen Soeren 177 pipe with a can of Revision Disco Ninja Hazy IPA along side.

Last smoke of the day is MacBaren Three Nuns Yellow in a 2002 straight grain Karl Erik Ekstravagant A medium bend freehand sitter and black acrylic stem. I'm finally sensing some Kentucky in here, and despite my review, I now think a small touch of it is present.

I enjoyed my last pipe so much, I decided to have a second helping: Wessex Burley Slice in my dad’s rusticated Urbino bent apple with an acrylic stem. I’m drinking Canada Dry Seltzer on the rocks. I have two flakes left in this tin. Fortunately, I was able to find two more tins from Watch City Cigars last month. I’ve decided to cellar them until they’re needed. On another note, I purchased five tins of Solani Aged Burley Slice this week. Darin , I’ve been doing more research, and have concluded it’s the benchmark of burley blends. Wessex is not far behind.
