Opened last night, a jar of Sutliff’s ERR Match dated 2/16. I wanted to compare the two....from a recent purchase of 2 lbs. fresh ERR. With close to only 2 1/2 years of aging I notice a difference. The 2/16 was at the moisture level I much prefer, a bit more of sweet molasses and nuttiness. With only 2 lights and a tamp the blend was extremely enjoyable to the end. Burned to a fine ash with just a bit of moisture left on the bottom.
Sutliff ERR Match dated 2/16 ......it can be an all day smoke!!!
Pipe of choice: Don Carlos Smooth Bent Bulldog pipe.👌👍👍

Rich Dark Flake in my Golden Gate poker. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer but for those just beginning to start a pipe collection I highly recommend the pipes that carry the GG logo. Most of their Briar pipes can be obtained for less than $60.00 and are very well made. AJ

Another beautiful day in Pinehurst. Tee'd em up with my buddy John @ 5pm on Pinehurst #6 this afternoon. Temps were in the 80's, humidity was low, all in all a great day to golf. Had my usual Arturo Fuente 858's and a couple of curly heads as well as a couple of bowls of MM965. After dinner tonight Blondie and I walked over to the neighbors and had drinks and cigars, as well as a couple more bowls of MM965. Libations were corona and a couple of glasses of Glenn Fiddich, aged in an IPA casket, good stuff! Finally back up to the mancave, finishing up a bowl of 965 and sippin bourbon n water...
