l I finally found an quasi-aromatic that works well for me. Until it disappeared from the market, it was the only OTC I smoked. From 2000 on, I was able to get it from overseas, and of course, it's easy to get now, and I stocked it.
Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching the Braves-D-Backs game. Finally had a decent night's sleep.

Reiner Professional Blend dated 2009. An enjoyable aromatic that does not need to be sipped.
Pipe of choice: Pipes of Malta Meer Billiard bowl with a wide saddle stem. Custom made for me in 1987 and purchased while living on The Island of Malta.

Every time I see pictures of Malta LC, I fall in love with the place. I have willingly fallen into a rut and have been sticking with mostly some aged LBF, with blackened coins I could easily be a one blend for life with this one. In a partially rusticated WO Larsen Handmade... getting ready to grill some NY strips. Obviously not LBF in the pic...

2nd round of D&R TAPS VIP.. A really wonderfully satisfying VaPer that has all the right qualities in strong measure.. I panic when reaching the bottom of my last tin, and I'm panicking right about now... Virginia's are rich n sweet; Perique is plummy, cayenne spicy; nicotine on medium-high... D&R are not shy about producing rich bold ultra-natural tasting blends - they hit this one out of the park!

Half way through this bowl of HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching the Reds-Cards game.

Comoy's: Cask No.2 dated 2013
Pipe of choice: Comoy’s 215 which I was lucky enough to spot when a well known “ gentleman Master pipe restorer “ had for sale on another pipe forum a while back. I’ve been looking for a pre-1980 215 that was in mint condition for quite some time. When I received the pipe it looked like new and maybe smoked two or three times prior. Need to smoke this pipe more often, been a while.

Trailboss......year was 1989...flying back from business to my home in Malta. We circled around the main Island before landing at Malta International Airport in the town of Luqa. I had the pleasure of sitting next to the pilot and good friend Arthur B. To this day we text or FaceTime on a regular basis. His daughter graduated college a few years ago and is now a pharmacist on the Island where she was born. He’s been asking me to come back and visit one day, which is not out of the question.
Thought youd enjoy the photo of the Island as we came around to land. Arthur ( Captain of a private jet ) and the Island of Malta.
