AJ, I find the blend good in a briar but just a bit better in a good Cob. I think because I’m also smoking a fresh batch besides the 2/16 I also opened...which to me is at the proper moisture level now and stays lit with a tamp or two and an extra light. Extremely enjoyable blend at a very reasonable price👍

On my 3rd bowl of Lane - RLP-6 this afternoon. It's a nice change from my normal English blends. Very mellow smoke and forgiving if I smoke too fast. Too fast = goop at the bottom.
Got back from the beach yesturday and have had a pipe in my mouth almost constantly (except at work today). I missed them and regretted not taking any with me.

Good heavens... To think that this is still around. I bought a pouch in the mid sixties on the ferry to Sweden, but I can't remember at all what it was like. It must be good or else you wouldn't smoke it.
It's average, more like Sail Yellow light. A friend didn't want it,, and gave it to me. It's okay to smoke while I'm doing something, and don't need to pay much attention to my smoke. I was given a pouch of Blue Orlik by a friend, who didn't like it. It was an okay smoke, though it had a very unpleasant smell. I finished it, but I shall not buy another pouch.

I’m smoking this as I type.......definitely needs to age a while more but I figured I try a bowl or two. I put together from a kit I received from GQ.....
GQ Tobacco's Askwith Kake, freshly thrown together by me the week of 7/6/2018
Pipe of choice: restored to mint condition a Chubby Olde London pot with a slight bend to this wide comfortable stem. A really nice old piece of Algerian briar makes this pipe an excellent smoker👌👍👍

D&R TAPS VIP amped up with a healthy pinch of D&R Picayune ...when the urge demands a flavor and spicy mouthfeel punch, the gloves are on!
...seems all the webtailers are backordered on the TAPS VIP and my supply is running on fumes... 🤯
