Good morning to you all. First smoke of this sunny and already humid (why not?) Thursday; Poul Stanwell's 'Jubilee' in a reg.no. Stanwell no. 65 G - Flame Grain.
ooooooooooo, I like that pipe! Thanks very much, M'Lady.
It's a bit of a strange pipe, really. I've only ever seen two Stanwells with the letter 'G'. Normally it's 'M' for 'Military'. It might mean 'Giant' as the pipe is both large and heavy; Forget clenching, it'll remove your teeth in a jiffy.

Cornell and Diehl Star of the East out of a Cobb peach iced tea for a drink, MASH rerun on in the background just for noise. Waiting for Pudding to get home. We will be childless for the next 7 days and I already miss Stinky.

Maybe the last pope for the night. Unless I decide to go for something heavier. Sutliff Voodoo Queen in a Georg Jensen De Luxe. I really love the way this pipe smokes.

Oops... lol.. it can stay that way. Made me laugh even more when I read the whole thing. Here's the PIPE. Don't mind the thumb, it's what happens when a sledge hammer meets the end of it.

5 brothers in an mm 5th ave legend with a yellow stem. This stuff is pretty good, there's a casing I cant place. I'm gonna have to read the tr line on it. I called it minty before but thats not it at all today. Its close to my wheelhouse but just different enough I caught it right away. Drinking a mr pibb.
Edit: I read the reviews and about blew the tobacco out of my pipe. That's entertainment. This stuff is strong but I dont get the sweats from it. I guess that's what I get for loving the strong baccies/burleys.

The peach iced turned out to be very good. I had to switch off of the Star of the East and went to Black Magic Woman. I'm still smoking a Cobb just a different Cobb. Come to think of it I'm switch to Tullamore Dew on ice.

Filled up my Stanwell black diamond with some more match Revelation. It finally started raining so I didn't get to finish it. Good reason to find something to watch and hit the bed.
