Wessex Brown Virginia Flake in a Peterson. Sipping coffee. This is the perfect size bowl to fold and stuff flakes in (at least for me). That’s a great looking pipe.

Danske Club Black & Virginia - Stanwell [modified]. Thank you all for your kindly words, the number of dead people is rising and we have too many persons missing. Keep in mind that was an arson, simultaneously the fire started from 15 different points! I’ve been following the updates. It’s so heartbreaking and senseless. I wasn’t aware they confirmed it was arson.

Three Star Blue in my Don Warren Morta Poker Pipe with a straight shank and stem. This pipe was made to my specifications, as far as the size of the bowl and chamber dimensions. Great smoker and well crafted.

Finished washing the old truck (the one that sits in the yard and is mainly used to tow the boat to a launch) while it was still fairly cool this morning. Had a bowl of Presbyterian in an old Charatan when I finished. I am really starting to like that tobacco. It is a straightforward, easy, satisfying smoke. And thank you guys for the compliments on my new Peterson. I was inspired by rblood. He has some beautiful pipes. I'm almost tempted to not look at his posts anymore since it tends to separate me from my hard-earned money.

Finishing a bowl of HU Nashville Country in a BR (Borkum Riff) Dublin. Packed tighter, I got a 70 minute burn rate this time around. Iced tea on the side after another warm day. How did you like it? Pleasing. What presents as deceptively simple, has a hidden layer or two. Sort of a Germanic Americano take.

I have some GH&Co. Louisiana Perique Flake in a Blakemar Briars Aristocrat smooth bent bulldog. Gotz strong COFFEE!
I like flake tobacco because it usually burns slow and smokes for a long time.
