What I smoked today was G&H Dark Plug‘s baby sister as far as strength and Nic hit. Even much stronger then Black or Brown Irish X. What I smoked has no twin in this Country I’m sure! They live in the Dominican Republic thank God. The last time I smoked any pipe or cigar tobacco was when I visited Brazil and the DR, nothing has ever come close, believe me!!!

Gonna change it up in a minute... aged Stonehaven in a MM Ozark Mountain Hardwood. These are crafted of Maple, and are excellent smokers. The Merlot is still flowing.

John Patton's Storm Front in my RDPipes Devil Anse. I have accumulated many pipes over the past 49 plus years, this Devil Anse is one of my top 5 favorites. Not for its beauty and superb craftsmanship, but for the way it smokes.....OUTSTANDING!

...nothing like old Stonehaven... I defy any blender to match-tobacco this. Martin, this would be the ONLY other tobacco I would ever think too stockpile if a blender took the time to create a Stonehaven Match. I know of three Master blenders that would score real close to the original, this is what’s known as “ TOBACCO POLITICS “!!! Just my 2 cents worth👍

Relaxing after a terrific pot roast and potatoes dinner with a bowl of HU Old Fredder’s Broken Flake in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Finally got a break from the rain. Molly doesn't like rain, so she hides under the bed when it does, silly li'l cat.
