good for CORPS. Fondly recalling my time at CORPS '89 when in the slo-smoke contest (my 1st & only), at the 67min mark, my sponsored classic bent actually caught on fire. Stem in mouth, bowl flaming away on the floor with folks running for pitchers of water. Actually finished 2nd...eventual winner doing all he could to stop from cracking up at the circus.

I am back from the Far East. Depending on what my schedule looks like in Pittsburgh, I may be in attendance. I'll make sure to have that sport coat with the elbow patches ready to go.

What brand of pipe was that Ed? thanx for asking Mr. Falls. A Savinelli blast, Lucite stem, I'd guess at a Grp. 5. That was a day of infamy + tons of laughs.

Odd they are having this show the week after the GKCPS. I am still going to KC. Well this year we had limited choices with the date for the CORPS gathering and we debated this issue, but we had no better choice...this year:-) |
