Don’t think it’s time for you to use one, just walk slow with a cane or walker. Have your wife buy you a small scooter👌👍

Tell her this one makes more sense, you have both hands free and can use them to check the forum on your Smartphone on public WiFi. banjo

That commercial just came on TV and I couldn't help but laugh. At the rate I'm going, I'll need one before too long so I have to get my laughs in now.

Tell her you had a Polaris Slingshot in mind, Brad. If your knees are getting like mine though, you might need the 30 year old blonde to help get out of it.

What they really need to invent for us folks with bad joints (or god forbid, missing limbs) is some kind of rocket propelled device. Or even a hoverboard. That would be perfect. 2016 hit and we didn't have any of the cool stuff from Back to the Future II.
Well. Except for Pepsi Perfect.

Many days I have thought about cracking open that bottle. But I just can't. I have a feeling that Pepsi's last run of Crystal 6 months or so ago is going to be the last one.

Ron, those are basically walkers and used as such. The seat part is an added feature. In a small room they are easier to turn in, as well. My wheelchair is in the garage.

Didn't mean to come off as it may have sounded, I'm sure many out there have to have them to get around. It's just that I suffer from Degenerative Disk and have to use a cane when I go anywhere I have to walk any distance and I hate it even. I reckon I'm a bit angry about my condition and shunning all these contraptions is a way of telling the good Lord I'll have no part of this disability I've been burden with. Sorry I came off insulting, that truly wasn't my intention.

Sorry I came off insulting, that truly wasn't my intention. Ron, there was no insult or offense. I simply wanted to state the purpose for the walker that it is more of a walker than a wheelchair, though I scoot around on mine. I was using canes when I went out, but I don't do that anymore. The walker with seat actually allows me to turn in a small kitchen so I can prepare a meal without bothering Xuan, sometimes. And... I totally understand your feelings. Mine are similar.

I have very bad osteo arthritis in my lower back and both knees so appreciate what these can do for ones mobility. Don't like it but it's better than being bed ridden !!

My main problem is with longer trips. I just cannot do more than 30-45 minutes on my feet. For long days out in town it would really help to have some kind of motorised option.
