In the morning I have to go to the hospital to have an Angeocath done. Why, a few weeks ago I had a stress test done. During the test they found something irregular so they want to check it. I have had this done 3 times before and it was good this time I feel uneasy about the Doctor and the Hospital.
So please have happy thoughts for me.
John

They tried to do the Cath this morning to no avail. As of this morn I was admitted to the hospital to have bypass surgery in the morning. The Dr. Are not sure if it will be a triple or a quadruple he won't know until he gets in there.
Thank all of you for your good thoughts

Yo jo
Heavy duty stuff there but I trust modern medicine will get the job done. Looking forward to hearing from you when you come up for air.

Well all went well in surgery had triple bypass on Saturday. Still in icu but every day they remove more stuff yesterday chest tubes came out not fun. Sucks not being able to pull or push myself up or bent over have to protect center of my chest. Just went for my first walk made it 70 feet. Got a long way to go but do feel better. Take care of you and yours My friends.

I feel really bad, I sent out a mass text to everyone about tomorrow's pipe club meeting, and due to my work schedule, I missed knowing about my local pipe club buddy being hospitalized...just found out he has been in the hospital for a week.
I talked to John, he did have a lung collapse while in the hospital also, so it has been kind of rough on him...but he is doing better and expects to be released tomorrow. He is considering giving up the pipe with the current situation which indeed, may be a wise thing. I hope that regardless that he still has a desire to attend our pipe club meetings, he is a charter member, and a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
When he get's well enough though, I am going to give him a kick in the butt for not having someone call me though.

While I am able to I want to thank all of you for your happy thoughts. The past few days have been very tireing and painful at the same time. The angiocath I was to have couldn't be done do to severe blockages in the artiries in the heart. The next day they did a triple bypass around those artiries.
Just wanted to let you know and to say thank you for your thoughts.
