Ted (Lonecoyote) and I were able to meet today and had a great time visiting. After enjoying a fine breakfast at the IHOP (donut shop closed for vacation) we rode to the State Farmer's Market where I bought some nice ripe tomatoes and then returned to my home. Of course we smoked and talked while riding. At my home we both relaxed in reliners, listened to some fine music while we enjoyed our pipes and talked. Ted, being the generous man that he is, gave me a tin of Black Frigate, Park Lane Christmas Cake, and a tin of Andullo. He allowed me to sample some Andullo before he gave me a tin for my own. Anyone liking a cigar should try this exotic blend. It is wonderfully delicious. Real cigar flavor and a touch of Latakia along with just a hint of anise all work together to provide a delicious satisfying experience. It's a real privilege to have a good friend and fellow pipe smoker in for a visit. In what seemed like just a few minutes Ted had to return home. We had visited for five hours. Time really does seem to fly when you're having a great time. Thanks Ted, looking forward to our visit in August.

It's amazing that two "strangers" can get

Online communication is certainly a great asset to our community, but I think the forum owner, and his trusty sidekick John would be the first to agree that there is no substitute for physical meetings.
If you don’t have a pipe club in your community, it is to your advantage to start one, even if it is just two guys getting together.... you might even hit the jackpot and find a Maggie in your locale!
We are just guys that get together here in Arizona, no dues, no meeting called to order, recording secretary and such.... that may change some day if the members elect to, but it is freewheeling, and I eagerly look forward to each one.
