Hello,
Smokingpipes has quite a large variety of repaired English estates.
Does anyone here have any experience ordering repaired estates from this company? How was the repair quality? In your opinion, are they good quality/craftsmanship for the price?
Much appreciated!

I HIGHLY recommend Smokingpipes and have an order from them on its way, should be here Monday. If you purchase a so called Estate/garage sale pipe from Smokingpipes and have any issue they would rectify the situation immediately. It’s a FIVE STAR online retailer 👌👍

I've ordered a few brand new pipes from them and some tobaccos that aren't available from my tobacconist here in town. Thanks for clearing up my fears about ordering a repaired estate! I have my eyes on a few Dunhills they have.

It's dangerous to go there (don't ask me how I know this)! Dangerous @ Smokingpipes? I’ve been doing business with them from the month they opened and I’ve purchased pipes, Estate/garage sale pipes and had one minor issue which was resolved with a phone call. Never a problem here, not even with many tobacco’s I’ve purchased past and present, so if you had a serious problem or someone you know it’s best to keep us all informed....as I would definitely do!!!

Ive been ordering from them for awhile now. Never had a problem. I am just unsure about the idea of a "repaired estate pipe". I only own three estate pipes, and one of them was my grandfathers. Its a pretty sweet carving of a horsehead, I might post the picture on here later to see if anyone can identify it. I have no idea about year/manufacturer, none of that. Pretty sure its from the 40s but unsure about that, too.

I'm just not sure when the last time pipe smoking was popular around here. Must have been over forty years ago. I can go months without seeing another piper, its quite sad. I did find a pipe stand in a thrift store here about four years ago. Maybe I'll get lucky sometime, who knows.

To clarify, I have bought many estates from SP. To encourage this habit, they gave me a 5% discount on new and used pipes.

I dunno...I think Shane Ireland, Sykes Wilford are part of an evil cabal to drain our wallets that cause us to re-prioritize expenditures, and leave our heirs peniless after our demise, but pipe rich. Rumor has it that Shane's hats have a kevlar lining to hide the horns. Tell me that ain't an evil grin!
