I need a new computer. I have a little Acer Aspire One that is sloooooooooow. But I am NOT getting something with windows 10, so for the time being I'm stuck with my little senior citizen. I've been looking at a Chromebook, but don't really understand how it works.

agreed! i'm reaching for ibuprofen and Cherry Coke, lol. Interesting combination. i love cherry coke, and caffeine in the cola helps the ibuprofen kick in faster

I'm long past being technical, I'm now an IT paper pusher, but that's just the way it works sometimes. I gave up on Windows. My entire company on the employee side has been Mac since I started. I think I was the last holdout 2 years ago and finally switched over. I have not looked back.

I've been looking at a Chromebook, but don't really understand how it works. The Chromebook is now being used by many schools, the operating system is designed by Google that is based on the Linux kernel and uses the Google Chrome web browser as its principal user interface. You can purchase a Chromebook at a very reasonable price, shop around and wait for a sale. On boot the OS checks for viruses and malicious malware before you get to your desktop. Below I posted a video.....watch this video when you have time....it’s a video explaining how the Chromebook works and operates for beginners.

Or, you can spend $749.00 when an Apple Airbook goes on sale, your choice. Wether you decide on a Mac or Chromebook, remember you’ll be learning a new operating system. If your looking to use it for surfing the web, writing/saving documents, photos and photo editing the Chromebook suits most of the consumers needs, at an affordable price!

For your needs get yourself a Chromebook. Check and see if you can play your solitaire game on a Chromebook, if it’s an online game you should be able to access the game from one of your browsers, like Mozilla Firefox if Chrome gives you a hard time. Good luck 👌👍

Good luck 👌👍 i can play it online but i like having it on my computer because i don't always have access to internet. i always play solitaire at bed time to help me relax and get sleepy. guess i'll have to try finding something comparable.
