Was induced to come over her by my good friend AJ and I'm glad I have. I see a lot of members from that other Forum who I haven't seen in awhile and that's good. Now a little about me, started my pipe habit back around 1968 and have enjoyed the trip for 50 years now! Have acquired a bit over 100 pipes in this time period and smoked so many blends that I've lost count over these 50 years ! I'm mostly a straight Va smoker having smoked one of the best ever blends, BS 579 for almost 30 years , moving on to The fabled Vas of McC's till they have gone away so am now left with my fave these past 20 years Royal Yacht which will be going away in December of this year ! Purchased most of my pipes new during the '70s into the early '80s and nearly 1/2 of my collection being Lane era Charatans and Edward's of the mid '80s. What a long strange trip it's been !  |
