I'm a mug and brush man I use a badger brush a pottery mug that was Theo's dad and shaving soap we get at the Farmers Market have no idea what it is but it sure feels nice on my skin Dollar Shave Club sends me new razors every month for six bucks and that's my routine. What be it for you? Are you a disposable razor and bar soap guy or are you a shaving cream in a can what do you use

I'm comfortable with all the above mentioned. Most times, anymore,it's a disposable and bar soap. I have a cup and brush, but it's evidently a cheap shelf sitter. The brush has started to fall apart. I learned to shave with a safety razor,so if need be I could return to one.I have a straight razor. But I can't allow it anywhere near sensitive veins or arteries. So since I only shave once or twice a week I just ruin a disposable and some Ivory.

Well, back when I DID shave....I used a disposable and a can of shaving cream, now, the only thing that gets shaved is the top of my head, and I let my barber do it with a straight razor and some wonderful oils and suds, but I do have my grandfathers old mug, brush and straight razor that I restored and put a new handle on and got all polished and sharpened up for if I ever do decide to shave the bush on my face.

I’m an old school shaving type of man. Even though now I have a full beard. Still areas that need to be kept clean shaved. Nothing shows better than a photo. I have more soaps, creams and single and double edge razors in a small set of draws in my room. Also have my birth year and month Gillette razor, you can tell because back then all razors were stamped with a code....pretty darn cool.

I use a safety razor with feather blades and proraso shaving soap with a brush. I like the safety razor as blades are dirt cheap and seem to last longer to me.

I tried using a straight razor years ago but my hands just aren't steady enough for that kind of business.
I use a razor they only sell in the NEX/PX, which is the exchange select brand razor, with the exchange select razors they come with. Its a killer deal and the same quality as the Gillette Mach 3 and less than a third of the price. But you cannot buy them without a military id unfortunately

Dollar Shave club razor and no soap when I'm lazy (that's most days. Remember that guy in Predator, who's bare shaving constantly?). When I'm not lazy, it's either Shave Butter or a brush and soap.

Norelco/Phillips "triple head" for past 10yrs. No sideburns, handlebar 'stash. Every other day shave. Strange but replacement circular blades only $3 less than cheapest new one. Once a year, do just that, just buy new one. Never go anywhere where feel the need of a blade.

I dry shave once or twice a month just to shape my beard. After washing and drying my face and neck I use an old Gillette Safety Razor. Been doing it this way for nearly 40 years. I used to use some shaving cream when I first grew my beard nearly 45 years ago. Why do I dry shave? It’s easier and quicker.

Safety razor (Merkur blades). Badger brush. Proraso shaving cream (not in a can). Yup, Proraso in a tube, made in Italy. Excellent thick lather. I use a ceramic bowl filled with hot water and float a smaller glass bowl while putting a dab of Proraso on my brush and mix well until as thick as I prefer. Let sit in the hot water for an extra minute and you have a good warm shave cream.

I quit shaving my face 5 months ago. I do shave my head every 2 days though. I use gilette gel in a can and a 5 blade razor. Might seem overkill, but a blade last me about a month and I can shave my whole head in about 5 minutes.

Gave up the electric when it died. Now I use (at my wife's suggestion) the Venus 5-blade razor with Creamo from Walmart. If you haven't tried Creamo, you are missing one of life's simpler pleasures. It is incredibly smooth and wonderful shaving cream. You can even shave across the grain with no problems. Try it you will love it and never go back to whatever you are using. I, of course, have no investment in my proclamation of Creamo.

Been using a badger brush and soap since I started shaving when I was 16. I have a Gillette 109 adj. DE razor which I bought back in '73 and have used Williams soap since I WAS 16! ( my daddy used it so do I ! ) Tried many other soaps but have always come back to Williams ! I have a lifetime stock of Schick DE blades that will last me a for the rest of my life ( at my age!) , same for my soap. I just bought a new silver tip Badger brush, ( my other I had been using for the last 50 years and finally wore out! ) I like to K.I.S.S. it for this aspect of my life, shave once a week, one razor, one brand of blades and one brush and soap !

Use both badger brush and a Plisson synthetic. I have whittled my soaps down to about 5. I use either my birth year and quarter Gillette Slim Adjustable of a Rockwell 6S plate 4. I switched over to traditional wet shaving almost 5 years ago now and is all I will use now.

I don't have a son but if I did I would definitely teach him to wet shave and to also tie a tie and he better stand up when he introduces himself and shakes another man's hand just what I think

I have a full beard, but around the edges I'm a mug and brush man. I have a nice faux ivory razor and brush set that I bought about twelve years ago.

Merkur long handled safety razor, Derby blades, synthetic brush, mug and Colonel Conk soap. Pinaud Clubman or Gabels after shave afterwards. Excellent choice Pinaud Clubman, I believe I have a few of their 200 year Anniversary bottles...well now they’re plastic. I also like Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum👍

I have a vintage glass Pinaud bottle for regular and a glass VEG bottle. I transfer all my AS to glass.
