Link is still a puppy, gonna be big, I like it that Rescue official took him home and he loved her cats. On the farm I feed anywhere from 6 to sometimes 10 cats, cane farmers have a lot of mice. Filled out the Adoption papers, have yet to actually see him in person. Wish me luck. Oh they say he is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix.

Talked to the Rescue Lady a little while ago, Link was in a home with an abusive teenager and got tired of mistreatment and bit the boy, his Mom turned him over to the Pond. Must not been a bad bite or they would of put him down. She said he's afraid of new people takes 5 minutes for him to somewhat warm up. He's got long legs, not common to his breed. We'll see.

I'd have done more than bite that punk ... he obviously has restraint! They take very little time to lose that fear once they feel loved and I'm sure he'd love you guys.

Good for you Brad! I find the companionship of a dog is great for stress relief. In fact I prefer their company to that of people most of the time.

Beautiful Dog..He's gonna eat a lot. Believe me, that Cajun will make sure that dog eats better then I do....lol. It will take a few days for the dog to get familiar with the new surroundings and people. But with the love and attention that dog will receive will be rewarding for ALLđź‘Ť

Good looking youngster, he will give you years of love and attention. Rescues are the best of dogs, they know when they have been abused and appreciate love when they get it. More pictures of the youngster, we know what you look like and that you are one in a million.

You said three? Did you bring him home? I think I speak for most when I say it's killing us with the suspense.

Well folks, dissapointed, it was a bust, bought treats, know about going slow, he came in a large room, very wary, took some treats from us, then bit my wife, not bad, I think she pointed her finger at him. We took him outside after my wife told everybody That it was nothing, they swabbed her arm, more of a small tear than a bite, but us old folks are on meds that lighten our blood so we bleed easy. Took Link outside and walked him on leash. Brought him back inside and we left. Told wife I don't know how you feel, but I couldn't trust that dog ever. She was in agreement , damn.

Sorry to hear that, Brad. He's going to need some time to heal and, hopefully, will find the right home.

Sorry to hear the dog bit your wife, even a slight bite now will lead to others. You and your wife made the proper decision saying bye but no way can we trust that dog. I think you should still look for another pup, maybe a Labrador mix or even a terrier. Both are usually calm and docile dogs that both you and your wife will enjoy. I wish you both good luck in finding a GOOD dog that will fit into your family with little adjustments. Have patience, you’ll find the right dog 👍. All the best

Sorry to hear this, even without meds I bleed freely. Keep looking there's a dog that fit right with you and the Mrs.Might need to go to Mississippi though, Those Cajun dogs have a lot of "Spice".

Sorry to hear that but in my opinion you made the right decision too.
And I'm concerned about future owners. What @lonecoyote is true, that could quite probably lead to more bites.
