so i grow my own tobacco but my qestion to the people that grow to... has any one fermented or sweated the amonia out in the sun by putting it in plastic bags on a high humidity day and lettimg it sweat our??? i usualy use a fermentaion chamber but if i can do it with out it that would be awsome!!!!

That method would work for the color curing process (rotate the leaves often) but then you will need to either air or flue cure. Once that step is done the kiln / fermentation chamber is your best bet next to waiting a year. What are you growing this year? I've got Yellow Twist Bud and Prilep going.

vas and burleys but im woring with vas right now and im trying to find alternate ways to sweat the aminia out i was thinking it takes 70% humidity and heat well its 100 degrees out side at 70% humidity so i thought cant i put my leaf is a plastic bag and leave it out side to sweat after reading tge link from lone i am right tgats how they used to do it

i put distilled water on the backky and put it out side in 70 percent humidity for 2 weeks so far and its starting to smell verry good i have not tasted yet

2 weeks is too long for a color cure and it will now be composting.
2-3 days to color cure from green to yellow followed by an air or flue cure to dry and then on to fermenting or aging.
If I've misunderstood and you'd already color cured and dried, I apologize.
