Pipes are getting scarce at our local flea market, but today I found this, A Clubman de Luxe no. 13 - London Made. The bowl has a couple of severe dings and I'm not quite sure that the stem is original. I hope that I can get it back in shape. No cake to mention and the rim is not burned, just grungy.

Looks like a nice find. Hope it cleans up well, not that it needs much by the looks of it.

I have several Clubman pipes. They are all very good smokers. I'll bet you get that little beauty cleaned up and shinin like a diamond in not time.

Orlik made Clubman pipes....all my pipes stamped "London made" have turned out to be good smokers and are in regular rotation....nice find.

Thanks very much, everybody. I was informed by my walking pipe ecyclopedia friend, that the stem is original and that it is, as Charlie also wrote, made by Orlik. I paid $15 for it, so there's money left over for tobacco. I love our local flea market. If they don't have pipes, they have books.

I suspect after a good cleaning and restoration you’ll find that you purchased a hidden gem. I believe you will be surprised how good is smokes.
