I have TWO that I could NOT do without...John Patton Storm Front & Crossroads. So, since I can only choose one....it would be.....
My blend that Iβve made for the past β SIX YEARS β and have plenty of......itβs still technically one tobacco in my books.....lol
John Patton Storm Front 75% & Crossroads 25%. This blend for me covers all the bases and is my β Grand Slam β blend.πππππ
PS I have another pipe smoker from another prior forum that enjoys my blend so much, itβs kept on hand....Hello BriarBeagle Now itβs your turn too.......β COME ON DOWN β!

This is a question I am always unable to answer with any permanent certainty... so many variables to consider before a session: mood, genre, temperature, condition of palette, health, time of day, tobacco availability, age/condition of tobacco, social situation, indoor or outdoor, etc. For me, a top ten or twenty would more readily answerable, but even then my rotations would evolve among different combinations, permutations, along with faves falling in and out of favor and back in again. Always a good question to identify a general broad yet varied target area, but never one for me with a discernable bullseye. I don't mean to be difficult :-)

I guess, even tho I'm a lataholic, I'd have to say HH ODF, since it's the only tobac I'd whine and snivel over if I couldn't get it. There are a lot a Balkan blends that make me happy, so ODF is the unique one.

It's funny. I'm a former cigarette smoker, and only ever smoked Camel Filters, with occasional very brief stints with other brands. I was happy with my one brand, one taste smoking. With pipes, that's unthinkable. The "pizza at every meal" just doesn't work.

Well, I do have about 6 lbs of HH vintage Syrian on hand and 3 of HH latakia flake -- closest ones I could get to a Syrian flake . I do once in a while smoke latakia straight though. I had to make my choice based in the fact that HH ODF is the only non-lat blend I smoke, and there's none other like it, IMO, plus I have about 10 lbs in stock .
