Pipes&Cigars.com usually have good deals on starter kits.
If you’re looking for a good starter pipe, checkout Stanwell’s “brush brown” models. Fantastic smokers for budget prices.

I am on a low budget. thx I have bought several pipes from this person. He is in America and the pipes come in a week or less. The Pearwood Pipes are almost all less than 20$ plus a few dollars shipping. You may need to take out the fake char they put on them, but mine smoke well. I have given some as gifts, too. www.ebay.com/sch/Unsmoked/156519/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=ukrainian_brands

JMHO....the number one pipe if your on a budget. Good luck👍👍 The Devil Cutty, Acorn, and Morgan pipes are all nice, too (under 10$) But you'll pay 10$ shipping on them. One can never get enough cobs, though Edit- Excuse me, Ted. I didn't see the Amazon there. Yes, you can get free shipping on some. Just looked and the eBay seller I listed has free shipping also, and at least a half dozen pipes for 15$ or less

My cobs take a beating when I'm outside working. They've been dropped numerous times, stuffed in my pocket, banged about, etc... and they're still my favorite pipes to smoke. I originally bought a straight and a bent. A few months later I bought 1 more of each in case I broke one of the originals. The originals are still going and still smoking great.
I like my briars, but my cobs have had way more tobacco burned in them.
They're cheap and great smokers.
P&C is currently sold out of their budget friendly starter kits.

It's been said enough times, but I've gotta concur with the cobs. Get a Country Gentleman or a legend and go to town.
Then when you come back you should smoke some tobacco out of them.

In another forum there was a thread where someone tried to kill a corn cob pipe. It survived thousands of smokes and was still going strong until it got lost. There are, I'm sure, people here who have smoked the same corn cob pipe for 40 or 50+ years and it's as good as the day it was made.

To answer the thread title exactly, in the last week SP added carve your own pipe kits from $25.00 - $35.00 . Acrylic and Vulcanite stems, plain block and plateau.

Kits normally refer to a pipe, tobacco and tamper. MM CG cob pipe 9.49 Czech tool 1.99 Pouch of Carter Hall 4.50 Shipping. 3.99 Total. 19.97
Stop looking at amazon for pipes. Go check out actual tobacco supplier sites, P&C, Smoking pipes, Mars etc.

I'd go with a cob, too. That way if you don't like it, in the rubbish it goes, without much guilt.
