NO ONE else bid on it, so I thought it might be suspect for some reason. From all the pictures, it looks like it's in good shape. I thought it was interesting, so I bought it anyway. I got it for the price of a good basket pipe. Hopefully after clean up it will look a treat.

A far cry from the Kaywoodies I see at the antique shops near me.....burned up bowls and cake that looks like it was from Mordor...nice score!

That's why I bought it. I've never seen another Kaywoodie like it, but then again I haven't been doing this pipe thing very long. It has a push stem, which I like. I usually gravitate towards rare and eclectic second hand stuff (besides pipes, as well), so this pipe is right in my bailiwick.

Looks like you've got one that slipped through the net off other bidders. Well done. Looks good to me. I also like the colour.

Looks like a Kaywoodie Sterling. I got one recently. Nice pipes. Made in Italy for Kaywoodie.

Got the Kaywoodie in. It's far nicer than the eBay pics. I'm super excited. Looks like a light bowl sanding and a stem cleaning is all it needs!

It looks so much better. It's fantastic, and a prefect shape too.

In fact, if your picture was in the ebay listing, I'd say the pipe may have had more bids.

In fact, if your picture was in the ebay listing, I'd say the pipe may have had more bids. I totally agree. I stole this one. The rim needs a little bit of help, since the finish is almost gone, but a good buff and wax will take care of that. Gotta wait for that until Friday, so I can get to my uncle's lathe.
