lol I like both versions and I have been listening to Paul and Arts version for at least 40 maybe close to 50 years? Weezer had the album where Paul and Art are walking down the dirt road.

I liked that a lot. Thanks. Did you give the original a listen first? I can't pick or choose which one I like best

It's an interesting take on it, but I prefer the original, myself.

The original was from my era when released, the one you posted was good but for me the original will always be my favorite. I was lucky enough to see S & G preform live đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť

I like it, but I wouldn't ever choose it over the pure platinum of the original. Thanks for posting it.

I like both. Disturbed's other songs meet my main genre of music. But I listen to everything from the 50's onward.

I too prefer the original...I just can't get past that guy with the rings...completely turns me off from whatever he is singing. I'm old and perhaps that has something to do with it. But to me he is a freak.

I grew up listening to S&G and their sound was nice but I have to say that I definitely like the other version. I like the way it built up with a harder sound. Very nice!

Don't know how I missed this. That's sent shivers down my spine. Either that or it's cos it's baltic here. Either way, it's a great version.

A friend at camp plays this from time to time. Not bad for a cover tune.

The link isn't working for me, but I assume you're talking about the Disturbed re-make of the song?
If so, I have to admit that I do prefer it to the original, despite the fact that the original is from my era.
Growing up in the 60's and 70's I've always leaned more towards real rock and heavy rock, not the soft so much. I find this version to be a great incorporation of both.
Guess that's why I enjoy Evanescence as much as I do.

The Disturbed version on here just worked for me again....it’s different I’ll admit that...now all he needs is a voice similar to Paul Simon👍👍

Seems way overdone, over the top and defeats the purpose of the message in the original. I somewhat suspect this was probably the intention, smash and burn. That's the way everything is being handled anymore. It's reflective of current times which have been expressed through music for centuries respectively.

Some of Y'all are gonna hate this but I like a lot! I don't ever like remakes or artists recording songs that had been done before by some else. But, I thought I'd just give this one a try for some reason, at the start seeing a guy with piercings I knew I probably would hate it. Strangely enough, and hate to admit, I like it better then the original by Simon and Garfunkel.

Hands down, I much prefer the original. Music is as subjective as tobacco...đź‘Ť

I don’t care for David Draiman voice. Hey, some people think Frank Sinatra had a great voice.....I’m NOT one of them! Sinatra was supposed to be technically perfect according to the music geeks, but I find him a little boring and he sounds like he's talk-singing. The key to a good comedy impersonation of him, in fact, is to "talk" when you belt out the song's melody. Give it a try spontaneously when your loved ones are around. (I'm getting a hell of a lot mileage out of my Freddie Mercury impersonation lately).

Both Jim Morrison and Freddie Mercury are in a class of their own! Each and every song they sang “ belted “ out with inner feeling by both singers👍👍
Queen......Greatest Hits Each song is punched out with different levels of power. An hour of excellent music if your a Queen fanđź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť
