Savinelli has a hold on me that I can't shake , I mean' I really got a monkey on my back! When I see one, I wanna hold it, caress it, stroke it, love it, and take it home. I just won this one on the Bay for next to nothing. The pic is a stock pic courtesy of Bobby Altman. Thanks Bobby!

Don't know, don't care all I know was I had to have it And now I feel a ton better knowing you have 8 of them. Not that I felt all that terrible, but you know what I mean.

You got one the High grades of Savinelli's ! It's equal to the Punto Oro series which is just below the Giubleo d'Oro which is the FINEST standard shaped pipe made today, far and above anything Dunhill makes !ya got a good 'un guy !!

It gets better. Fiamatta and Estella are rejected (for whatever reason) Autograph briar. Congrats and Enjoy.

Top grade briar, but may have had a small blemish that disqualified it from becoming an Autograph.

From what I know, the Autograph and Giubleo d'Oro are the same just that the Autograph blocks are larger so that they can make the larger pipes. The same quality blocks which are smaller are made into the Giubleo d'Oro pipes both smooth and blasted. Fiamata, Estela and Punto Oro are all made from the same briar.

I have a bunch of Punto Oros. They are not going to be in my clearance sale. I have one Savinelli Mon Ami. I touch it about once a year. It's so beautiful that I dare not smoke it.

Ive got one of their Opera/Pot-shaped rusticated pipes coming to me in two days. They are a great pipemaker, and they've got a really good lines out now, for good prices.

Yep, Savs are my second favorite production pipe, after the late, lamented Jarls.

Yep, Savs are my second favorite production pipe, after the late, lamented Jarls. I’ll take a Radice lower priced production line pipe over a Savinelli production line pipe any day of the week👍 Radice makes some of the highest grade Fatta a Mano Pipes to date, using only the finest grade briar available with some outstanding Birdseye and flame or straight grains. All superb smokers. If I had ONLY one pipe I could smoke it would definitely be a Radice. They are in a league of their own....JMHO

Jack you’ve picked up a nice pipe. I have several Savinelli pipes and they’re all good smokers. JMHO but I believe Savinelli makes the best production pipes available. Even their less expensive models out perform some more expensive pipes made by other companies.
