That is ridiculous in my opinion. Where is the bottom of the tamper when not in use? Shows the trunk of the palm but in the all- together picture the bottom of the tamper is no where to be seen. If I was buying a Dunhill, I would like it to look like a pipe not a freak show.

woulda been nice if selling price was posted. Yet, with all that bling...damn vulcanite stem oxidize just by looking at it. Supposedly Chinese investors lap up a lot of stuff like that then re-sell at huge profit.

That’s not a pipe to smoke! It’s just a conversation piece! The umbrella looks absolutely ridiculous.....in this case I’d rather smoke a decoupage pipe 😝😜😂

Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY Yup, they lap it up so they can put out exact clones with equivalent quality and sell them for 1/10th the price!!! I own a very old clone of a Rolex Presidential, it looks exact to the “ letter “ of the original, down to the markings, the way the second hand sweeps without hesitation, serial number and even the exact weight. It’s Japanese made, only an authorized Rolex dealer was able to tell the difference once he asked me if it was okay to remove the back cover. He commented, this clone was the best he’s ever seen👍 |

Haters!
I bought the pipe and am currently sitting on the beach with it, mustering up a British accent, (think Terry Thomas) I keep telling the bartender “Chadwick, bring me another Gin and Tonic”.
I might look a bit ostentatious, but I like it!

I knew a guy who collected and displayed these RTDA theme pipes and other Dunhill pipes like these at shows back in the day. He died a few years ago and the collection got sold off.  |
