Yard work day.. had to weed eat around the garden, the house, all the bushes, trees and flower beds, then push mow around it all. Not a small yard and few trees, it's an acre and a half. I do the hard part so my dad only has to ride. Then pulled up my tomato TREES and tilled the garden again. It was 86 by 10:00 am. Finally finished.
Smoked RLP-6, Drexel VIII, Red Odessa and then 1-Q. After I drink a gallon of water to replenish what I sweated out and fix the dry mouth from the 1-Q, I have some Bengal Slices out drying.
Easy Sunday from here on out. AC, pipes and Sweet Tea are all I see in my future.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

I only smoke Billy Budd Blonde on special occasions.
Like being awake.
BBB in a Savinelli 320EX, on the porch, listening to some old time radio detective show, drinking an iced coffee.

Good Morning Pipers... Currently, smoking a bowl of Sutliff's Ready Rubbed in a Georg Jensen Giant Flame Pot/Billiard with a medium coffee black from McDonalds. Outside on the patio enjoying the morning, and watching the hummingbirds here in Bend, OR. Peaceful and quiet!
Too warm here this morning for any sort of yard work. Although, there are a couple of saplings that I cut down a month back staring at me, its not gonna happen. This is just going to be a easy-going and relaxing Sunday.

Just finished smoking Jim’s B Blend in a smooth 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite stem. Been busy helping m'lady with her projects, and can relax now in my favorite chair. At least I've been able to follow the Braves-Mets game while doing it.

Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. No rain for the first time in eight days, which should make Molly happy, and keep her from hiding out. Suzy is busy snoozin' by my feet.

Finished jarring two large quart wide mouth jars with Sutliff' Reddy Rubbed and labeled. Now smoking some 15' H&H Anni Kake in the no-named meerschaum bent billiard. A cold can of La Croix Lemon sparkling water is my drink while watching a couple of scrub jays work a suit hanging out back. They love the suit. The hummingbirds aren't having anything to do with a dragonfly that keeps perching above their feeders

If your not from the same family tree, you best stay clear of our feeder......superb flyers capable of dive bombing precisely 👌

I can be sitting out here on the patio, and from time to time, they will chase each other right near my head. I've learned to keep my head still nowadays as two are approaching my head at break-neck speed, only to veer at the last moment, sparing the three of us a "head-on" collision...

Mark, last year I stayed extra sill and quiet, had a hummingbird hovering less then 8” from my face just watching me. About two weeks later I had one land on my foot. A few different species down “ heir “ and all they live on is the nectar of flowers.we have a small hummingbird sing hanging next to the feeder. Every once in a while one will feed and the other actually swings up an back. I have a number of videos of their shenanigans👍👍👍
Now smoking.....
Sutliff ERR Match date on jar 2/16 Pipe of choice: restored Olde London Algerian briar with a slight bend to this comfortable stem. An excellent smoking pipe from this Chubby piece of briar👌👍👍

Good evening to you all. An late-evening smoke; the mighty Presbyterian in a GBD no. 719 - Club. No pipes at today's flea-market, but I got this Kukri, a book about pub crawling in London, the Kama Sutra in a Danish translation from 1956 and a book of Norwegian folk-tales illustrated by the Danish artist Svend Otto S. This Kukri hasn't chopped off any body parts of Gurkha enemies, as it's a tourist version; I found an identical one on a homepage.
Both the knife and the scabbard will need dollying-up.
