Pipe of choice: the custom made Billiard pipe called The Melting Pot. I made this pipe 2 years for my smoking pleasure. It’s a pretty darn good smoker, Algerian briar over 75 years old.👌👍👍

Going to sit on the back deck. I decided to stay in Knightdale for another two weeks👍👍👍 Plus I have access to a car at all times. After this pipe going to do some reloading for this Saturday at the range....hopefully!
C&D Bayou Night 60% and Lane Burley & Black 40% aged just over 3 years. I smoke this like a FREIGHT TRAIN and absolutely NO bite. I pack the pipe firm 3/4 of the way and get close to a 60 minute very enjoyable smoke.
Pipe of choice: Savinelli Series III UNFINISHED BILLIARD pipe. Has 11 huge fills but it's a superb smoking pipe. I did finish the briar with Bee's wax and mineral oil mixture. I've smoked this pipe over 700 times and the briar now developed a dark chocolate color. But the fills still stand out.

Now smoking Drexel VIII in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching the Yankees-Rays game as I clean some pipes. Will go to work and listen to the game soon.

Finished a bowl of Billy Budd Blonde that I lit this morning and didnt have time for.
Doing some dishes and then moving on to one of the few flakes of Newminster that I didn't put up to age.
Mail came today. Got my pound of PS Luxury Navy Flake, 4 oz of Sutliff RR match and a cigar (I dont smoke them often, I need the ashes anyway) Also received my 8 Ebay pipes, 7 of which look to be project pipes. That's fine with me and what I bought them for. One of the Grabow's in the lot just needs cleaned up and it'll be good to go. Its value is more than what I paid for all of them. Win/win for me.
